Welcome to the first post on "Evergreen," a new blog from the Party of Commons that will concentrate on the environment and ecological matters overall, and on politics in the Pacific Northwest: Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and particularly, Washington, where the headquarters of our party is located. As always, we will stay true to our motto: Progress, Tradition and Ecology. Although, there will be a lot about the environment on "Evergreen," our essays, political analyses and viewpoints, will have varied subjects. There will be no set timetable for publishing essays, but we expect to publish mostly on the weekends for "Evergreen." Thank you for joining us.
